About Us
Harcourt Kerr is a niche property advice practice concentrating on development in most types of commercial and private land and buildings. It is run by Philip Kerr BSc FRICS who is a chartered surveyor working in the commercial property and development industry since 1979.
Trained in London with international property advisors Healey and Baker (now Cushman Wakefield) he worked as an Associate on the government privatisation initiatives of the early ’80s covering a wide portfolio of properties in all parts of the UK and then into the burgeoning business space projects along the route of the then new M25. He was a partner of Dreweatt Neate (now Carter Jonas) for ten years dealing with commercial property and development in central southern England before moving to the West Country back to family roots.
He now specialises providing strategic planning and marketing advice in land and commercial development in most markets in towns and rural areas advising landowners, commerial occupiers, distribution and business as well as developers throughout the southwest. He has appeared an expert witness in tribunals and Public Inquires and is a trustee to a number of charitable organisations.
